How to get your Windows 7 network to see your XP network

Today's issue was that my new Asus tablet pc running Windows 7 could not see any of my XP computers on my home network. Anybody else have this problem? In my search for the solution, it seemed to be a very common problem - here's the solution:

Control Panel --- System and Security --- System

Click: Advanced system settings
Click the  Computer Name tab
Click: Change

Under WORKGROUP:  type your home network name

Click OK
REBOOT

Worked like a charm for me and finally my Windows 7 network can see all the others computers on my XP network.
